Erie encompasses a large land area in both Boulder and Weld Counties, well-suited for ongoing growth and construction now and in the future. Old Town Erie is gaining traction with some new restaurants. Erie’s modern recreation center, library, park and ball fields are popular local attractions. Portions of western Erie are within the Boulder Valley School District, but the majority of Erie is within the St. Vrain Valley School District.
