Longmont features an Old Town area with a historic Main Street, a new outdoor walking mall with a Whole Foods and a variety of affordable housing opportunities. The views of Long’s Peak from Longmont can be dramatic. Most people do not realize Longmont is only 14% smaller in population than Boulder, and it is growing due to the amount of developable land for residential housing. Longmont is in the St. Vrain Valley School District.
