Dan is a great realtor - super knowledgeable, genuine, smart, and 100% has his clients' interests in mind. We've bought and sold houses with his help, and I would recommend him wholeheartedly!
Dan Heine has been a longtime friend, my real estate agent on several sales, and a trusted person with sound advice when asked. The most recent sale of my home followed the similar expediency as previously experienced with Dan. Of course, his professionalism with his years of experience was evidenced as all the necessary steps were completed in a timely fashion. The one concern this time, mainly for myself, was selling my home during the coronavirus epidemic. Not knowing the logistics of what to expect, Dan covered safety with all the necessary precautions. Immediately when the house was set for sale, an offer was presented that was amazing…nothing could go wrong as it seemed sound!. Upon immediate acceptance, the perfectly sound offer was taken off the table. What had just happened? My response to Dan when he told me the news…”This is worse than Covid-19!” Laughter from Dan, shock from me with the impending news, but with another quick phone call from Dan, a second offer arrived that duplicated the first. My sale was back on track and I closed and moved within a month. Everything went smoothly...Dan’s expertise, professionalism, and friendship once again was prevalent and forthcoming. -J

We worked with Dan to purchase our home in 2013 and he is easily the best agent I've worked with. He is a great communicator, had great feedback on what was feasible to modify in each home to meet our needs, and was overall very knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. He also noticed that the buyer's agent missed a key portion of our offer, without which we would not have ended up with our current house. Highly recommended!

- Quality: Dan listened to what we were saying we wanted. He asked the right question to narrow the focus of that need. He did this well. He did this quickly. So we were immediately looking at homes we actually wanted.
- Value: Nothing Dan did seemed like he did it to make a sale. Everything he did felt like he did it to make sure we got what we wanted. When we had finally chosen a house and his hard work was about to pay off, he insisted we see one more, because he thought we would like it and it was a lower price. (Yes, he added to his hours in a move that could lower what he earned.)
- Professional: I immediately recommended him to, literally, my dearest friends without a single concern or caveat. (They close in August.)
- Responsive: Everything we looked at had lots of interest. Every move had to be made quickly. Dan either picks up immediately or calls back immediately. He was never late.
Dan has helped us buy 3 places in the Boulder area and I would work with no one else! Dan is friendly, professional, has amazing attention to detail and most importantly helped us get what we want and did not push us into buying a house just to make a sale. I have recommended Dan to any friends looking to buy a home. I would give 10 stars if I could!
Dan was exceptionally helpful throughout the entire process of searching for, purchasing, and then eventually selling a home.
He made himself very available for showings, which allowed us to see more properties than we otherwise would have while we were looking to buy. Also, Dan was a great help with staging the property for sale as well as coordinating the services necessary for getting the home ready to sell (handymen, repairs, touch-ups, etc.).
He provided sound advice about pricing and bid response, which helped us get maximum value out of the process, both when buying and selling.
Dan was always prompt about responding to messages and was both professional and personable. He knows the local real estate market well and communicated with us consistently about market trends as they related to our property, which helped inform our decision about when to sell.

As first time home-buyers, my husband and I thoroughly appreciated Dan's service as our realtor. He made the process about as easy as possible for us and was extremely knowledgeable, professional, responsive and flexible to our schedules. Our window to buy just so happened to fall in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic and I feel like he went above and beyond for us in an environment that was new, uncertain and constantly changing. I've known Dan for over 20 years. In fact, before he became a real estate agent. He has always demonstrated the highest level of integrity in his personal and business life.
When it came time for me to purchase my home in Boulder, Dan was there for me. He showed me many homes that fit in my budget that met my list of 'must-haves'. Surprising to me (and probably not to him) the first home ended up being the perfect one for me.
When I moved to another state and needed to sell my home of 10 years, Dan was there. He took care of so many of the little things that the home needed to make it perfect for the next owner. With me being out-of-state, I depended upon him to make good choices. He did.
At some point in the next 2-3 years, I plan to move back to Boulder. Dan will be my man!
